When submitting a development application to council, applicants must provide sufficient tree and site information for a Tree Management Officer to make a comprehensive assessment of the proposed works. An Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) prepared by an AQF Level 5 arborist will assist council to process your application faster.
Tree Report prepares all AIA reports in accordance with Australian Standard AS4970-2009 Protection on Trees on Development Sites and Australian Standard AS4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees by AQF Level 5 arborists and satisfy council requirements for submission to get your development under way.
Before building or renovation around trees, you will be required to prepare a Tree Protection Plan (TPP), install tree protection and maintain that tree protection for the duration of the construction period.
Tree protection must comply with Australian Standard AS4970-2009 Protection of Trees on Development Sites.
Tree Report have an extensive and thorough knowledge of tree protection on building sites as well as the expertise to install the required tree protection so that your site is compliant and work can commence.
Under the Australian Standard AS4970-2009 Protection on Trees on Development Sites, root mapping may be required to determine the viability of a tree when excavation activities exceed 10% of a Tree Protection Zone (TPZ).
Tree Report undertakes all root mapping activities using non-destructive methods and uses the data collected to prepare a root mapping report in accordance with the Australian Standard AS4970-2009 Protection on Trees on Development Sites.
Tree safety management is a matter of limiting the risk of harm from tree failure while maintaining the benefits conferred by trees.
Tree Report are the experts in tree risk management and have prepared tree risk assessment reports for a wide range of audiences, such as private residential clients, primary & high schools, commercial sites and large infrastructure projects.
From 1 tree – 1000 trees, treeREPORT have you covered.
Our arborists are registered users of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) system (Advanced Qualification).
By quantifying the risk from tree failure as a probability, QTRA enables a tree owner or manager to manage the risk in accordance with widely applied and internationally recognised levels of risk tolerance. QTRA further provides a decision-making framework which considers the balance between the benefits provided by trees, levels of risk they pose, and costs of risk management.
Find out more about the QTRA system here.
Preliminary Tree Assessments can be used to ascertain data so that an owner/developer can make informed decisions in relation to the trees on the development site.
Tree Report use the latest in GIS technology to collect tree locations and relevant information, resulting in detailed Preliminary Tree Assessment containing accurate and reliable data.
Trees can be susceptible to a wide range of pests and diseases, of which, some can be beneficial, others are benign, and a few can be harmful.
If a pest or disease isn’t diagnosed correctly, the result can be a slow decline, rapid decline or sudden tree failure.
A correct diagnosis is the first and most important step in developing and applying a correct treatment.
Tree Report have an extensive knowledge of tree pest and diseases, as well as the treatment options available to ensure the longevity and safe enjoyment of your trees.
Occasionally an arborist report will be required within a short period of time e.g. where a tree poses an immanent risk of failure or to meet a DA submission deadline. Tree Report can have an expertly prepared arborist report in as little as 24hrs.
